Information we collect

When you use our estimator or contact forms we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, telephone number, the addresses involved in your move, your moving date, inventory and access details, any extra services you select, and any notes or photographs you choose to share.

Your unfinished estimator progress is stored locally in your own browser so you can return to it. It is not transmitted anywhere until you submit an enquiry.

When you submit an estimate or an enquiry, we store those details securely in our systems so that our team can prepare your quotation and contact you about it.

Address lookup

When you search for an address by postcode, that postcode is sent to a specialist UK address validation provider so we can show you the correct property list. We do not send your name, contact details or any other information to that provider.

You can always choose to type your address manually instead of using the lookup.

Emails we send you

After you submit an estimate or an enquiry we send you a confirmation email containing a copy of the details you gave us and your reference number. These are service emails relating to your request, not marketing.

How we use your information

We use your information to prepare an estimate, to respond to your enquiry, to plan and carry out work you book with us, and to keep records of the services we provide.

Lawful basis

We process your information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to perform a contract you enter into with us, to meet our legal obligations, and where you have given consent for us to contact you.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate this website and deliver our services, and where the law requires us to do so.

How long we keep it

Enquiry and quotation records are held in secure, access-controlled systems available only to authorised members of our team. We keep enquiry and job records for as long as we need them for the purposes described above and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise them.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to request access to your personal information, to have inaccurate information corrected, to request erasure, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. You can also withdraw consent at any time.
